TXM Movers handles house, flat and office removals across Altrincham, Hale and Bowdon. We are a BAR member rated 5.0 from 209 Google reviews, working from our Old Trafford depot about 20 minutes up the A56, with the M56 close by. Altrincham sits in the same patch as our removals Manchester service.
We plan around the property. The Victorian and Edwardian houses in Bowdon and Hale mean steep stairs and heavy period furniture, while the apartments by the Metrolink mean lifts and booked move slots. For Stamford New Road and the market quarter, we check parking and any Trafford Council arrangements at the survey. Choose an hourly rate or a fixed price, with no hidden costs.
Trustindex verifies that the company has a review score above 4.5, based on reviews collected on Google over the past 12 months, qualifying it to receive the Top Rated Certificate.
Hale. Hale’s Victorian and Edwardian homes sit alongside newer apartments near the village centre, so no two moves look alike. We plan each one around the property, from wardrobes that need careful handling on narrow stairs to a full family house packed and moved room by room.
Bowdon. Bowdon’s larger period houses often hold antiques, artwork and furniture passed down through the family. Our White Glove service is built for high-value pieces like fine art, antiques and designer furniture. Long drives and gated entrances are checked at the survey, so the right vehicle and crew size turn up.
Timperley. Timperley’s family homes and semis get the same survey-first approach. House removals, man and van for smaller loads, packing and storage are all available, so a gap between moving out and moving in doesn’t have to be a problem. Plenty of Timperley moves head a short way north or east, and our removals Sale and removals Stockport services run from the same Old Trafford depot.

The removal team were brilliant from start to finish. They arrived on time and everything went smoothly.
They went above and beyond for us (a lot of boxes needed to go down into the cellar!) and they were more than happy to help.
Very professional, friendly, organised and helpful. All furniture that was dismantled was put together again perfectly. Will definitely recommend to others. Thanks again!

I can honestly say with hand on heart the whole team was absolutely amazing, polite and professional. They are a credit to the company. Completely understood the stress of moving day and solicitors and deadlines etc. On the move day itself Marcus kept in touch with me and remained calm and considerate whilst waiting for the completion/sign off.
It was not only a move but a relocation and although I'll say I will never move again, the whole team from Ross, Marcus and the whole moving team were totally awesome and deserve to do well in the future. Good luck and thank you for everything. I cannot recommend TXM enough - if anyone is looking for a moving company, comparing rates etc then you're lucky you found TXM.

Thank you TXM Movers.
The service and the support was great, the people who came to pack were fast and efficient and move day went smoothly even with a long drive and some furniture to assemble.
The additional burden of it being raining and only on street parking the other side didn't phase your guys either.
I would highly recommend you to anyone
If we ever move back North we will give you a shout.

We only have positive things to say about TXM removals and will be recommending them to everyone. The guys who came on the day were brilliant - Marcus, Johnathan, Stephen and Darnell were outstanding, they were so friendly and positive whilst being very hardworking and careful, clearing the house which was no bother to them and they did extremely fast with no breakages. They were also reassuring when our completion was delayed and were happy to help the movers who were clearing our new house out which meant they went above and beyond.

Absolutely brilliant service from start to finish. The team at TXM Removals made what could have been a stressful day completely hassle-free. They arrived on time, were polite, professional, and worked incredibly efficiently. Nothing was too much trouble — they handled everything with care and made sure everything was where it needed to be on the other end.
I was especially impressed by how calm and organised the whole process felt — it’s clear they know exactly what they’re doing. Even the bulky furniture and awkward items were no issue at all.
If you’re looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and genuinely helpful removals team, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend TXM. Five stars all day.

Ross and his team were fantastic through the whole process. We were in the middle of a buying chain and moved long distance with a family of dogs and a cat so has a lotnof items and stairs up to the house. The day was during a heatwave but they guys still worked so hard and remained professional throughout. They made 1 of the most stressful days of our life much easier.
Can't thank them and recommended them enough.

Everything went very smoothly with the move. The two lads who came were professional and efficient. I was quite impressed overall with the process, I was half expecting to have to do some of it myself. Absolutely worth every penny, would certainly go with your company again.

From the moment we arrive at your door to the final box being placed in your new kitchen, we focus on maintaining a positive, helpful environment. We handle the heavy lifting so you can focus on getting the kettle on and exploring your new neighborhood.
Removal Companies in Altrincham: How TXM Compares
Most removal companies in Altrincham promise care and punctuality. The useful comparison is what each one can show you. Here is how TXM Movers answers the questions worth asking.
Trade body: we are a member of the British Association of Removers (BAR).
Reviews: rated 5.0 from 209 Google reviews.
Survey: done in person, so the price reflects the real access and volume.
Pricing: every quote is set out in writing after the survey, with no hidden costs.
Base: our Old Trafford depot is about 20 minutes up the A56.
High-value items: a White Glove service for fine art, antiques and designer furniture.
Range of work: house, flat and office removals, packing, storage and man and van, plus long distance moves anywhere in the UK.
When you compare quotes, ask each firm the same three things. Does it belong to a trade body? How many reviews sit behind its rating? Will someone see your home before pricing the move? That is The Xtra Mile in practice, and it is how every TXM quote starts.
It depends on the size of your home, the access and the distance. We survey in person, then send a written quote before you book, with no hidden costs. Our Manchester house removal cost guide shows typical prices by home size.
Yes. We cover Altrincham, Hale, Bowdon and Timperley from our Old Trafford depot, about 20 minutes up the A56, along with the rest of Greater Manchester. We also move people from the area to anywhere in the UK.
We sort it out at the survey. Some Altrincham streets, including Stamford New Road and around the market quarter, have limited loading space. We agree where the van can stop and flag if you need to arrange anything with Trafford Council before move day.
As soon as you have a likely moving date. Booking early gives us time to survey your home and plan parking. Friday and month-end dates go first, so if your completion date changes, tell us straight away.
